I am a Film and High End TV Editor, Assembly Editor and First Assistant Editor based in London, editing for arts magazines, charities, and short form production. I have worked on ‘Venom 3: The Last Dance’ for Sony, ‘Say Nothing’ for FX, ‘The Choice’ and ‘Treason’ for Netflix, and ‘Sexy Beast’ for Paramount+. I am currently assisting on Netflix and Binocular Productions’ political thriller ‘The Choice’ with Suranne Jones and Julie Delpy, working closely with oscar-nominated showrunner Matt Charman.
Recently I had the pleasure of working with Director Rosie Day on a short film called ‘Last Encounters’ with Alistair Petrie (Sex Education) and Amber Anderson (Peaky Blinders), about the final few weeks of Sylvia Plath’s life and the interactions she has with her neighbour. Rosie is a co-founder of production company Just John Films, and is developing projects with Silver Salt Films.
Another short I edited, ‘Seeking Thomas’, with Director Julia Zlotnick portrays a young man’s crumbling mental health in frenetic dance and went on a successful festival run, including nominations at Cannes Short Film Festival, Greenwich Film Festival, Best Dance Film, and NYBA Dance Film Fest.
Before moving to scripted, I worked across Natural History, Factual Entertainment and Documentaries, on productions such as ‘Earth’s Great Rivers II’ for BBC/PBS, and fan favourite ‘The Supervet’ for Channel 4. I am proudly an Associate member of British Film Editors, and an Administrator for Making The Cut, a collective that hosts socials for young entrants into the post production world.
I am highly adept in Avid Media Composer, Adobe Suite, Davinci Resolve and Final Cut and I am well versed in media management, dailies workflows, turnovers, exports, VFX comps, and troubleshooting software and hardware issues.
In my spare time, I love photography, having photographed collections for many sustainable fashion designer’s, and collaborated with them on experimental photoshoots based on the ideology and influences of their brands. I love working with female designers who promote cyclical practices within the fashion industry, using repurposed materials and producing collections that support social issues.
